Pengembangan Standar Mutu Pendidikan Pesantren dalam Merespons Tantangan Era Globalisasi

Abstract
Limited infrastructure and human resources pose a challenge to the adaptation of educational and institutional activities in Islamic boarding schools amidst the tide of modernity. The aim of this qualitative research, in the form of a conceptual study, is to describe policies regarding the development of quality standards for education in Pesantren in the era of globalisation. Data were collected through a literature review of various academic sources examining the development of educational quality in Pesantren. Research findings indicate that the quality of education in Pesantren can be improved in the era of globalisation through the integration of the national curriculum and the boarding school curriculum. Meanwhile, quality evaluation is carried out through the enhancement of teacher competencies, the strengthening of human resource performance, and the upgrading of educational facilities. This research demonstrates that quality assurance and accreditation systems serve not only as mechanisms for external evaluation, but also foster the development of an internal culture of quality within Pesantren
